Robert Goldman

Bob Goldman, a very talented drummer, was a student of the great Jim Chapin, father of Harry Chapin. He continued his studies at Berklee School of Music in Boston. Upon leaving Berklee, Bob played with many special artists including Jan Jammer, Rick Laird, John Abercrombie, the Brecker Brothers, Miroslav Vitous, Anthony Jackson, Herman Szobel and Dave Samuels to name a few. Bob was also signed to CBS with a rock group "Spy" in the late 70's. More recently, Bob has played with Mirthrandir, a progressive rock band and performed live for the first time in many years at this year's pregressive rock festival in North Carolina. Bob however, did not play on the CD recorded in the 70's. Those who were fortunate enough to to know Bob or watch him play were astounded by his abilities. Unfortunately, Bob is no longer with us to continue to perform.
